DoEvents - July 2007
DoEvents is one of several emails that VBUG provides free of charge to the developer community. To see a complete list and subscribe please visit www.vbug.net/newsletters
Hey Everyone!

Summer is well and truly upon us, it’s the rain that gives it away of course! What better way to spend these glorious evenings than to sit in a darkened room with a group of other developers and enjoy a stimulating technical seminar!

Our events schedule is suspended over August, so make sure you don’t miss out on the last of the bunch for the first half of the year.

As an extra treat for you (!) we are pleased to announce that in July we throw open the (virtual) doors to our on line technical seminars. Usually reserved for the exclusive use of our members, this month we have 2 on line seminars open to the first 100 developers that sign up.

Full listings to be found below, as usual!

Sponsor Message: Sentinel Hardware Keys
First Hardware Token to Enable Wrapping Protection for Products Developed in Microsoft .NET Framework Version 3.0.

Developers using Microsoft .NET 3.0 can now take full advantage of the advanced software protection offered by Sentinel Hardware Keys. In addition to public key cryptography, developers can enhance their applications security with the Sentinel Shell.

The Sentinel Shell is an automated process that securely 'wraps' an executable file, allowing developers to quickly and easily license and protect their software against illegal use. By providing multiple security layers, the Sentinel Shell thwarts hacking attempts by forcing a would-be hacker to break each layer before the software protection can be removed.

The Shell also provides additional protection against memory dumping and debuggers.
