An Introduction to ClickOnce PLUS Deploying Internationalized Applications Using ClickOnce with Guy Smith-Ferrier

Overview: Network and Pizza from 18.00 (courtesy of Grey Matter). ClickOnce provides the ease of web form deployment for WinForms application. Its VS05s successor to the Updater Application Block & No Touch Deployment from .NET 1.1. This session introduces the ClickOnce technology & demonstrates its use in many scenarios.

The interesting O-O bits of C sharp with David Ringsell

Overview: C sharp is fast taking over from VB as the preferred development language for .Net developers. Its concise syntax and object-orientated design have made it a good choice for writing industrial strength programs. Whilst the fundamental constructs of the language are fairly easy to pick up, the advanced areas can prove trickier to master. This talk will focus on the object-orientated features of the language. These include: Inheritance; Polymorphism; Delegates; Events.

They will be talking about their exploits in Redmond on the compatibility DevLab, discussing the 1st Software extranet which is running live under beta 2 of VS2005, their Smart Client application, written in VS2005 and hopefully and they will hopefully also chat
about what VBUG are currently up to!
